The End of the Norm tells the tale of how a pot smoking skater must survive the sentencing and punishment of the ministry of a romantic resort. In order to undo the sentence, Lance must collect scrolls to a magic book called the End of the Norm which was destroyed. Davon, a deviant professor, is a sealed monster in a man's body. The sea monster Zithius Maximus. Davon read the book after getting to know Lance and trading for a magic photograph that reveals Lance's true love. The End of the Norm drives him mad, figuring out to free himself from the sealed earth. The book is a blueprint sealing sins in the earth written by Lance’s family keeping the lands together to keep peace and keep imprisoned Zithius. Davon destroys the book and splits the resort from its pangea-like state, and he is freed. During his time of reading the End of the Norm. Lance's dad left; Davon had children grown in the ground where four witches which Lance was in love with too at the time. After the earth was split, Lance washed up what was left of the resort. On the railroad Lance meets a new girl Amy who later becomes Lance's wife, with his intention of using her to translate the scrolls. Lance collects the scrolls through 42 maps and 16 dungeons only for Amy to discover the drama and fights monsters, those who seek power from Davon. While he competes for Amy and Lance competes for the rebellious women. All the dungeons are based after the surface level sins of Lance and his escapades for who works for the monster. All in All, to discover Lance dies by both women and Davon resurrected as the monster Zithius for the final battle depending how he wrote the End of the Norm and who he chose to stay with or remain alone. 

The End of the Norm game shows the autobiographical journey of the developer during his life while seeing the decline and its studies. New age and inspired by underground comix culture. Told through the lens of interests, dreamscape environments and illness rabbit holes. Lance Johnathan Viea, who the player plays as must fight through the pain 42 maps and 16 dungeons. All fighting hoards and waves of enemies in a gridding platforming fight varied by mission. Top-down map with a platforming style set as the player. And depending on who you carry a relationship with depends on bonus material and multiple endings.
